The Link Pattern defines the rule what pattern a
<ow:link name="WikiName" href="ow.asp?WikiName" date="2005-05-02T12:00:00+01:00">Wiki Name</ow:link>
should follow in order for the
<ow:link name="WikiName" href="ow.asp?WikiName" date="2005-05-02T12:00:00+01:00">Wiki Name</ow:link>
to be hyperlinked automatically to another
<ow:link name="WikiPage" href="ow.asp?WikiPage" date="2005-05-02T12:00:00+01:00">Wiki Page</ow:link>
. For all other ways to create hyperlinks see
<ow:link name="HelpOnLinking" href="ow.asp?HelpOnLinking" date="2005-05-02T12:00:00+01:00">Help On Linking</ow:link>
.
The link pattern is: one or more uppercase letters, then one or more lowercase letters, then one uppercase letter, then any letters (either upper or lowercase).
In other words, simply
<ow:link name="SmashWordsTogetherLikeSo" href="ow.asp?p=SmashWordsTogetherLikeSo&a=edit">SmashWordsTogetherLikeSo</ow:link>
.
The Link Pattern may differ between various Open Wiki sites. Some may allow/disallow digits and underscores, and some may allow/disallow non-English characters.
Note that a
<ow:link name="WikiName" href="ow.asp?WikiName" date="2005-05-02T12:00:00+01:00">Wiki Name</ow:link>
that conforms to the Link Pattern is
hyperlinked when the
<ow:link name="WikiName" href="ow.asp?WikiName" date="2005-05-02T12:00:00+01:00">Wiki Name</ow:link>
is equal to the current page title you are viewing. For instance, the word LinkPattern is a
<ow:link name="WikiName" href="ow.asp?WikiName" date="2005-05-02T12:00:00+01:00">Wiki Name</ow:link>
because it follows the pattern, yet it is not hyperlinked.
