» ComputersI've always enjoyed generally fiddling around with computers and associated gadgets. I have what we call at Microsoft a "passion for technology". We've got three PCs at our house, all of which I built from scratch.
Once I move all of the stuff I'm hosting off of the designated server PC, I'm going to install Debian Linux on it just to see what all of the hoopla is about. Rick Devenuti has a PC running Linux in his office (his comment: "it looks a lot like Windows") and recommended that MS employees should check it out to understand what we are up against. I'm curious to see firsthand how much of a threat Linux is to Microsoft's desktop operating system market share.
The Home Theater bug let's me crossover into the PC hobby zone. One of our three PC's is a Home Theater PC (HTPC).
